Shrewsbury Town boss urges Jon Taylor to kick on
Shrewsbury Town boss Graham Turner wants more of the same from midfielder Jon Taylor after he netted his first Shrews goal in more than two months in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Crewe.
Taylor, who was starting his first game since November 9 having recently recovered from a month-long knee injury, bagged a 55th-minute equaliser at the Alexandra Stadium.

Turner was delighted with the quality of his finish, with Taylor having timed his run into the box precisely, and he has urged the 21-year-old to repeat the trick.
He said: "It was a cracking finish, but he can make those runs. He is bright enough to pick out the right time to go and he's bright enough to finish them off.
"I want to see more of that. I thought in the first half he made a similar run and the goalkeeper made a good save."
Taylor was one of three changes Turner made to his starting XI from the previous weekend's disappointing display, a 1-0 home defeat to Walsall.
Taylor had replaced the injured Paul Parry (hamstring) in midfield while defenders Cameron Gayle and Darren Jones dropped to the bench.
Ryan Woods was moved back to full-back after a recent foray in central midfield, allowing Nicky Wroe to come in to the middle of the park with Dave Winfield slotting in at centre-back.
And Turner said: "I thought David took a little bit of time to get into it but he had a good second half.
"I think 'Woodsy' going back to full-back did extremely well and it obviously freed up a position in midfield for Nicky Wroe to come in, and I thought Nicky did OK.
"It was satisfactory, what the changes brought to us."
But he admitted that his side were still feeling the after effects of that loss to the Saddlers.
He said: "Tom Eaves got in for one good chance and then we were two against one with Jon Taylor and Luke Summerfield.
"Situations like that, if confidence had been high we'd have gone and scored them but you just sense that after last weekend confidence has been a bit low."
