Joe Gbode set to become Shrewsbury Town’s seventh summer signing
Shrewsbury Town are set to boost their forward options with a Joe Gbode deal.
Shrewsbury Town are set to sign Joe Gbode from Luton Town.
The 21-year-old would become Salop’s seventh signing of the summer and follow the recent arrivals of midfielders Jack Price and Jay Turner-Cooke.
It’s understood Gbode is set to join on loan from League One side Luton, having moved to Kenilworth Road from Gillingham last September.
He came through the academy at Gillingham after joining the club at the age of 15 before earning his move to the Hatters.
Gbode spent the second half of last season on loan at National League side Woking, scoring three goals in 15 appearances.
