Boss provides AFC Telford United injury update as new recruits targeted
AFC Telford United boss Kevin Wilkin hinted at fresh signings after providing an injury update.
Kevin Wilkin has provided an update on his injured AFC Telford United quartet as he considers adding to his squad.
Telford were without Jamie Meddows, Jordan Cranston, Charlie Williams and Jaiden White for Saturday’s draw with Hednesford Town.
The absences left Wilkin short of options from the bench as the Bucks remained without a National League North win after four games.
“Jamie will be a good while yet,” Wilki said. “Jordan started running on the grass, which is great news. Charlie and Jaiden, hopefully they're not so far away from it.

“When you need players to make changes at crucial times, we didn’t quite have everything at our disposal today, but that’s where we are.”
Wilkin also revealed he is looking to bolster his squad, with one or two new faces potentially on the way.
He added: “I don’t want to labour that point or make too much of an issue over it. We are where we are.
“I need to try and bring in one or two faces if I can, just to change things around. I already feel that.

“But again, it’s trying to find the right players that are going to come in and have a big effect, hopefully.”
The Bucks sit in the bottom four of the standings, with only Hednesford and Morecambe below them.
Telford travel to Morecambe on Friday evening before hosting Bedford Town next Monday in the second half of a two-game August Bank Holiday weekend.
