Welsh dragon spotted over Welshpool... in the clouds!

Residents in Welshpool were treated to a spectacular sight just before the heavy storm hit a few days ago when a cloud formation appeared to take the shape of a Welsh dragon soaring across the sky.

The striking image was captured by Cathy Clapinson and later shared in the Welshpool Community Group, where it quickly caught the attention of local members.

Whether it was a trick of the light, a coincidence of nature or perhaps a sign that the Red Dragon was keeping an eye on Mid Wales, the unusual sight certainly got people talking.

Have you captured any weird, wonderful or eye-catching scenes from across the region? We'd love to see them.

Send your pictures to [email protected] and they could feature in a future story.
