Vinted goes down leaving thousands of shoppers and sellers unable to access accounts
More than 5,000 reports of problems have been recorded
Thousands of Vinted users have been left unable to access their accounts after the popular second-hand shopping platform suffered problems on Tuesday.
Shoppers and sellers reported being unexpectedly logged out of the Vinted app and then being unable to sign back in, with others encountering blank screens and error messages.
More than 5,000 reports of problems were recorded as the disruption hit, according to reports citing outage-monitoring website Downdetector.
The problems appear to have affected both people looking to buy items and sellers attempting to manage orders.
Some sellers said they had been unable to access postage labels or QR codes needed to send parcels, while others reported continuing to receive notifications despite being unable to properly access the app.
Vinted has grown to become one of the most popular platforms for buying and selling second-hand clothes and other items, meaning any disruption can affect both shoppers and people waiting to dispatch or receive orders.
