Fire at Telford solar farm involving electricity pylon: Firefighters deployed

Two fire engines were sent to the scene, with four hose reel jets in use
Firefighters were called to a blaze at a solar farm involving an electricity pylon this afternoon.
The incident happened at Wheat Leasows solar farm in Hortonwood, Telford at around 2pm.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This incident involved grass, hedgerows, and electrical pylon and electrics which were on fire.
“Crews used four hose reel jets to dampen down the area.”
Two fire engines were sent to the scene from Telford Central.
