Another aircraft pulled out popular Shropshire air show as 'not ready'
The Ultimate Warbirds P-51 Mustang will not make an appearance as it ‘won’t be ready’ for the show and will be replaced instead.
RAF Cosford has announced another aircraft has been pulled from this weekends show.
The RAF Cosford Air Show is expected to take place on Sunday, June 14 at the Royal Air Force (RAF) base in Cosford, Shropshire.
However, the Ultimate Warbirds P-51 Mustang will not make an appearance as it ‘won’t be ready’ for the show and will be replaced instead.

A spokesperson said: “We are sorry to announce that the Ultimate Warbirds P-51 Mustang “Hurry Home Honey” will unfortunately not be ready in time to appear at the RAF Cosford Air Show 2026.
“However, we’re pleased to share that the team have kindly offered a fantastic alternative, with the P-47 Thunderbolt “Nellie” now joining the line-up for the show.”
The news comes a day after RAF Cosford Air announced the F-86 Sabre will not be attending the show next Sunday due to technical issues.
In a social media post, RAF Cosford Air said: “We have been informed by The Flying Bulls that due to technical issues the F-86 Sabre will no longer be attending the RAF Cosford Air Show 2026.”

The Flying Bulls aerobatics team will also no longer be attending due to not being able to secure display authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority in time.
