'Disappointing news' as aerobatics team forced to pull out of RAF Cosford Air Show 2026
The show still has “an exciting and diverse line-up of displays planned”
A team of display pilots will not be able to perform at the Cosford Air Show later this month as they have not been authorised in time, organisers said.
The Flying Bulls aerobatics team, a crack Czech team of Red Bull-sponsored pilots who fly XtremeAir Sbach 342 airplanes, had been due to perform at the RAF Cosford Air Show on Sunday, June 14.
But on Tuesday (June 2) the air show organisers announced the “disappointing news” that the team had not been able to secure display authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority in time.
A statement on Facebook said: “We are sorry to announce that, despite everyone’s best efforts, The Flying Bulls aerobatics team have been unable to obtain their UK Display Authority in time for the RAF Cosford Air Show 2026.
“As a result, they will no longer be able to attend on Sunday 14 June.
“While this is disappointing news, we hope you won’t be disheartened. We still have an exciting and diverse line-up of displays planned to keep you thoroughly entertained throughout the day.“
The famous Red Arrows will be among the dozens of pilots performing at this year’s air show. Learn more at www.cosfordairshow.co.uk/.
