Telford Lego café outgrows town centre base one month after launch

The new business opened just last month

Telford’s first Lego café has temporarily closed its doors to relocate after outgrowing its home in the town centre.

In May, Shropshire couple Kayleigh and Mark Parsons opened Brick & Beyond in The Quad in Ironmasters Way.

But just one month later, the venue has closed its doors as the pair prepare to move into a new, larger and permanent premises in Ironbridge.

In a statement posted on social media, a spokesperson for the company said they hoped the new venue would be open in the next couple of weeks.

They said: “The last few weeks have been absolutely incredible, and the support you've shown us has been far beyond anything we ever expected.

“Because of that support, we've outgrown our temporary home and are making the move to a venue that will allow us to create an even better experience for our customers.

“We're currently working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready. We expect to reopen within the next couple of weeks and will be announcing our official opening date across our social media channels as soon as it's confirmed.”

The company said any customers with booking over the next two weeks will be contacted directly.
