Pop legend Rick Astley was the latest music star to rock Ludlow Castle last night.
The 80s crooner, famous for hits like Never Gonna Give You Up, treated a bumper crowd to several classic tunes on Friday, July 24.
He was supported by Liverpool alt pop icons The Lightning Seeds - well known for Three Lions with Baddiel and Skinner, and M People’s Heather Small.
Other acts to have appeared in the Live at Ludlow Castle series this summer have included Snow Patrol, Corinne Bailey Rae, Paul Weller, Miles Kane, The Human League, Altered Images, Tom Grennan and The Streets.
Next up at the castle will be Richard Ashcroft tonight (Saturday, July 25), before the Scissor Sisters bring the series to a close tomorrow (Sunday, July 26).
Organisers have urged concert-goers to allow time to arrive and plan journeys, saying: “Ludlow is a small and beautiful market town with narrow roads and blind corners so some congestion is to be expected. The Live at Ludlow team advise allowing adequate time to travel to and from the event and, where possible, using public transport or travelling on foot.”
