Nigella's visit a top choice in new poll

Topped only by being driven around the English countryside by Bond star Daniel Craig, a visit to Shropshire's culinary capital was the most appealing activity for this weekend.

The survey by the Enjoy England campaign asked more than 1,700 individuals in 110 locations what they would like to be doing and with which celebrity.

Choices on offer included having a family fun-filled visit to Blackpool pleasure beach with Kerry Katona.

A spokesman for Enjoy England said: "A pootle around English country lanes in a fabulous sports car driven by the latest Bond, Daniel Craig was the top choice for Brits.

"The next most popular choice was to be taken to 'Foodie Heaven' Ludlow, by Nigella Lawson, to sample the various restaurants, farmers' markets and organic produce in the Shropshire town."
