Take part in a National Garden Scheme survey to help find out where wildlife is thriving

Powys residents urged to take part in a National Garden Scheme survey to find out where wildlife is thriving

Powys gardeners are being urged to take part in a wildlife survey.

This year the National Garden Scheme is inviting everyone with a garden, large or small, an allotment or balcony, to take part in The Big British Garden Survey.

They aim to build a national picture of where wildlife is thriving in gardens and where there may be opportunities to encourage more biodiversity.

The survey runs until the end of September with results published by the National Garden Scheme in early 2027.

A spokesperson said: “Gardens are wonderful spaces often full of fabulous colour, scent and plants, but look a little deeper and you might reveal something more – a rich biodiversity of wildlife.”
