M&S reveals jobs for new Shropshire store as it gives opening update
The firm said it has already recruited 70 workers for the new store.
M&S is creating another 15 jobs at its new Ludlow store.
The store, on Sheet Road, is currently being completed ahead of opening, after it was granted planning permission back in 2024.

M&S said it has already recruited 70 workers for the shop - but is now looking to add another 15 workers, in both part-time and full-time positions.
It said the store team is looking to recruit customer assistants as well as warehouse operations and shift lead colleagues.
Those interested in applying can do so via the M&S Careers website.
M&S has also said the store will be opening this summer - with the opening date to be announced in “the next few weeks”.
M&S said the new 15,400 sq ft fresh market-style store will bring “the very best of M&S Food to local customers”.
It said: “From trusted value to exceptional quality, with key features including a show-stopping in-store bakery & coffee counter, serving barista-made takeaway drinks, a Hot Chicken Counter and fresh produce from M&S’ Select Farms – over 100 of which are based in Shropshire.
“Customers will also be able to find the latest new product launches in-store, alongside M&S’ Remarkable Value and family-friendly Bigger Pack Better Value ranges.”
Adam Byfield, store manager at M&S Ludlow, said: “We are getting closer to opening our brand-new M&S Food here in Ludlow and we can’t wait to start serving customers. As a team, we’ll be getting ready over the coming weeks for the opening and now are looking to fill our final roles.
“So, if you are looking for a fast-paced and flexible role in retail and are passionate about delivering great customer service and raising the bar, we want to hear from you.”
