Car flips onto roof on A5 near Shrewsbury as blizzard hits Shropshire
A car flipped onto its roof on the A5 on the outskirts of Shrewsbury as snow caused traffic chaos in Shropshire.
One lane was partially closed at around 1.30pm after a Fiat 500 rolled over on the eastbound side of the carriageway approaching Preston Island.

A spokeswoman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “A crew came across an RTC in which a car had rolled onto its roof at the junction of the A5 and Thieves Lane in Shrewsbury at 1:37pm. We treated one patient, a woman, who was the driver of the vehicle, for injuries not thought to be serious. She was then taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”
