This video, taken by James Williams, shows Shrewsbury town centre on Friday morning.

James used his drone to show the extent of flooding across Frankwell and the town centre, including Smithfield Road, before much of the town had woken up.

James' video shows how much had changed overnight compared to the levels in this drone video taken by Karl Hignett on Thursday.

At that point The Quarry was partially flooded but the banks next to Smithfield Road were yet to be breached.

Karl also used his drone to show how the Severn had risen over in nearby Atcham.

Meanwhile this footage, from Joseph Moran, shows the scene on the other side of Shrewsbury.

Joseph took the drone video from above his house on The Mount, showing the flooded fields of the West Mid Showground.
