Five-day closure of south Shropshire road planned - with 17-mile diversion
The road will be closed during the day for five days
A road in a south Shropshire town centre will be closed for resurfacing at the start of next month.
Tenbury Road in Cleobury Mortimer will be closed to traffic during the day from Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, as resurfacing work gets underway.

The work will be carried out by Kier Infrastructure on behalf of Shropshire Council, with a full road closure in place between 9.30am and 4pm on weekdays.
The closure will be in place between Tenbury Road’s junction with High Street (A4117) and New House Farm.
The local authority said access for residents and businesses within the closure will be maintained where it is safe to do so. Pedestrians, cyclists who dismount, equestrians and emergency vehicles responding to blue-light calls will also be permitted access.
A 17-mile signed diversion will be in place for other traffic, pointing drivers towards Cleehill and Burford, but alternative routes are potentially available depending on vehicle type.
Motorists are being asked not to park on the road while work is under way to help crews complete the resurfacing efficiently and minimise disruption.
Further information about the works and diversion routes is available on the One Network roadworks website.
