South Shropshire pre-school celebrates fourth consecutive 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating
A "proud" pre-school near Church Stretton is celebrating after receiving its fourth consecutive 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted.
Little Acorns Pre-School, based at Rushbury CofE Primary School, achieved the top grade in all four inspection categories following a visit by the education watchdog on September 23.
Inspectors said children thrive in the "nurturing, ambitious and inclusive" environment and praised staff for meeting children's needs "exceptionally well".
This is the fourth time in a row Little Acorns has been rated Outstanding - meaning the pre-school has maintained the accolade for more than a decade.

Staff at the nursery have been celebrating, including manager April Jones, for whom it was the first inspection since she stepped into her role last year.
She said: "I am pleased that the dedication and commitment of the team has been recognised, and wish to thank Anne Arkwright, Chrissie Ramsey, Jane Biggs and Ceri Wilson, as well as the parents who were interviewed on the day and our amazing children.

"This was my first inspection since I became manager at Little Acorns in September last year and I am very proud to have kept up the high standard of care and education, with the help of my fantastic colleagues."
In their report, inspectors described Little Acorns as a "warm, family-focused" setting that benefits "enormously" from its rural location.
The pre-school has full use of the Rushbury CofE Primary School's playground and extensive field, which includes a wildlife area that is used for forest school activities.
Little Acorns was rated Outstanding in all areas: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
Leaders were also commended for driving improvement "through ambitious vision", while parents were described as being overwhelmingly positive about the pre-school.
Chair of the pre-school's committee Ceri Wilson added: "I am very proud to be a part of this small, friendly setting that continues to provide a nurturing environment and quality education for all our little ones."
