Pair to be sentenced for cocaine supply charges in Powys in August
Two Powys men have admitted drug supply offences, with a judge warning them the case involved "very serious matters."
Thomas Pavey and Marc Jones appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, July 17 at a plea and trial preparation hearing before Judge Jeremy Jenkins.
Jones, 31, formerly of Ty Rhosyn Goch Campsite, Glasbury pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine on October 14 2025.
He denied possessing cocaine with intent to supply but he admitted the lesser offence of possessing the Class A drug.
Pavey, 33, now of York Road, Felixstowe, East Suffolk previously of Bronllys, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine at Talgarth between September 24 and October 14 last year and he also admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Prosecuting, Mr Jon Tarrant said the Crown Prosecution Service accepted the pleas entered by both defendants.
Judge Jeremy Jenkins adjourned the case for sentencing until August 14 and he ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared in the meantime.
He said all options remain open at sentencing and the men remain on unconditional bail until August 14.
