Concerns raised over parking as plans lodged to expand Telford HMO
Objector wrote that when road was resurfaced "they had to go round a car" left by a visitor.
A Telford resident has objected to plans to extend a HMO from 12 to 17 rooms.
Shropshire Rentals, based in Shrewsbury, has asked Telford & Wrekin Council for permission to build extensions at Exchange House, in New Street, Oakengates.
"Visitors park outside our houses and have been known to leave their cars there for up to a week," wrote the objector.
"Parking is limited and causes problems when having house repairs, builders or deliveries.

"I cannot carry and find it difficult to park outside my home to unload anything from the car or have shopping delivered."
The objector added that when the road was resurfaced "they had to go round a car" left by a visitor.
"I hope you seriously take the parking situation along New Street into considerate when assessing this application."
No parking spaces in addition to the ones already on the site have been proposed.

The council planning website records that Oakengates Town Council made 'no comment' on the application.
A number of official bodies, councillors and neighbours have been recorded as consultees in the planning process.
Officials are set to make a decision at a future date.
Plans can be seen on the council's planning portal with the reference TWC/2026/0679.
