Bentley set to expand model line-up with ‘Torcal’ SUV

The Torcal is anticipated to be a premium SUV that will sit alongside the firm’s Bentayga.
Bentley is expanding its model line-up with a new addition to the SUV market with the Torcal.
The Torcal will sit alongside the rest of the Bentley model line-up which consists of the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga SUV.
Details on the Torcal are limited at this stage, though its name has been taken from the Spanish landmark, El Torcal de Antequera, which is a formation of stacked rocks and cliffs.

The car’s exterior design is expected to use similar details from the Bentayga SUV with circular headlights and a tall roofline, while the tailgate will likely incorporate LED taillights and an angular boot lid.
There are no details on the car’s cabin, however it’s anticipated to use the same premium materials and sophisticated layout found in other Bentley models.
The British firm has not revealed the Torcal’s powertrain options, though it’s likely to use an electric setup and will be the first Bentley EV.
The Torcal will be a contender in the premium SUV market and is expected to sit below the larger Bentayga in the firm’s model line-up.
The new Bentley Torcal will make its world debut in London on September 23 with more details to follow in due course.
