Shropshire nightclub The Buttermarket, on Howard Street, has announced that the band will headline a special one-off club show in April.

The group stormed the charts in the nineties with hits such as 'Set You Free' and 'Stayin' Alive'.

The nostalgia evening, called The Big 90s Night Out, is the idea of Shrewsbury DJ Rob Mulliner who promises a feel-good night of classic 90s party tunes and entertainment. It will be hosted by Mr Mulliner and his former DJ partner Paul Bennett.

They will be performing together for the first time in 13 years.

The pair held residencies at a number of former venues including The Exchange, Jacksons, Park Lane and The Academy.

Bosses of the Buttermarket said today that tickets were already flying out for the gig on Saturday, April 13, which is expected to be a sell-out.

Mr Mulliner said: "The night gives everyone a fantastic opportunity to relive the mayhem created in the nineties, especially at the venues both Paul and myself used to DJ. This is the first time we've been reunited for over 13 years and we're really looking forward to it. For all those who used to sing-a-long in The Exchange, or even danced on the tables in Jacksons, they absolutely can't miss it!"

Buttermarket owner Martin Monahan added: "This night has already captured the imagination, and ticket sales are already booming. Following this latest announcement today of N-Trance performing the evening to definitely set to be a complete sell-out."

Tickets are now on sale priced from £10 from The Peach Tree, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, or available online at www.thea cademyofsound.co.uk
