Organisers of the Fieldbouce Music Festival on May 5, have already announced acts including Scouting for Girls, Fuse ODG, Dappy and Danny Howard for the event at Park Hall.

Now they have given the festival a twist, with a comedy tent announced as part of the entertainment.

The Comedy Agency will be bringing a range of well-known comedians to the event to take to the stage.

Headlining will be Rob Rouse, who followed in the footsteps of Peter Kay when he won Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ and also presented The Friday Night Project on Channel 4.

Joining him at The Venue will be George Zach, Josh Pugh, who was English Comedian of the Year 2016 and Silky.

Susan Murray will be the host of the comedy tent, and the organisers have also added a dance tent to the day's entertainment.

Tawanda Melusi, CEO of Fieldbounce said: "We are really excited to announce the comedy tent acts.

"It really adds to the diverse performances taking place on the day.

"Our main selling point is that we are the only large music festival in Oswestry and we are pleased to be able to provide comedy and dance shows to the community also."
