Former AFC Telford striker Kyle Perry has declared he would 'sign tomorrow' if offered the right deal to begin a third spell at New Bucks Head.
Former AFC Telford striker Kyle Perry has declared he would 'sign tomorrow' if offered the right deal to begin a third spell at New Bucks Head.
The 26-year-old forward is one of five players on Bucks boss Andy Sinton's radar as he aims to bolster his frontline for the Blue Square Bet Premier season.
Perry, who is a free agent, said he had swapped text messages with the former England midfielder in recent days although no offer has yet been made.
But having recently departed former club Lincoln City and bought a house in Cannock, where he has family and with his first child on the way, Perry believes it would be a good time to return to the Shropshire club.
He said: I would love to play for Telford again. It is a great club. I would like to get something sorted so I can carry on playing my football there.
"It is a club that is close to my heart. I want to be close to home, my family and at a club I am enjoying playing football at.
"A deal has got to be realistic for me to provide for my family and pay my mortgage. As as long as it is something realistic, I would sign tomorrow."
Perry scored 32 goals in 68 games for the Bucks in his first spell at the club between 2004 and 2006 before returning on loan for the second half of last season, playing 19 games.
