Boss Andy Sinton claims his phone has been red-hot with people offering their services to AFC?Telford for next season but has stressed that there will be no panic-buying.

With this season's league campaign now over, the AFC Telford United manager admitted sorting the squad for next season has become his top priority.

"I have had numerous calls from players and agents letting me know they are available," Sinton said.

"I believe we will have no problem getting the numbers to compete next year.

"But if we are going to push on, we have to add some real quality and that is going to be my priority now and over the next couple of weeks.

"We won't panic and make a patchwork job of things, we will get people who can improve us and we also want to make sure we are fitter and stronger next season."

Sinton knows there can be no room for sentiment as he conducts his summer squad revamp and he will have no qualms about making tough decisions on players' futures.

Only the bottom two teams, Bath City and Kettering Town, scored less goals than AFC Telford United over the course of 2011-2012 season, and the boss admits that is the key area he is looking to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.

"One look at our goals for tally says it all," Sinton said.

"My responsibility is on the field, and I will be doing everything in my power to sign the players we need to push on next year.

"As a team we need to score more goals that are required to win more games and we need more pace in the side.

"That's an area of the team I will be looking forward to improving and I already have a few targets in mind, but whether we can afford them remains to be seen.

"I know what I want and hopefully we can do our best to make it happen this summer."

Former Liverpool and Denmark midfielder Jan Molby has been announced as the guest speaker for AFC Telford United's annual sportsman's dinner at the New Bucks Head on Thursday, May 17.

Comedian Willie Miller will be hosting the dinner and tickets are available priced at £33.
