Manager Andy Sinton is desperate to keep his large squad sharp, and allowed striker Spencer Weir-Daley and utility man Curtley Williams to play for Buxton in their 4-3 victory over Nantwich on Saturday after the pair signed dual registration forms.
Weir-Daley, yet to feature in the Bucks squad, scored twice in that game.
"It's a good chance for people to go out and get minutes under their belt," said Sinton.
Meanwhile, the Bucks will play a behind-closed-doors squad game against Wellington Amateurs tonight.
Carl Rodgers, Adam Proudlock and Jon Adams, who have all played little or no first team football yet this term, could all play a part.
