Maddocks A and Dawley A are locked together on 80 points after they both tasted success in their latest outings.

Maddocks benefited from Hadley B being a man short to claim a 3-2 success.

Maddocks A, currently joint second in the table, played away to Hadley B, and it was the Maddocks side who gained a 3-2 win.

Shawn Harris took the first for Maddocks with Ken Booty then levelling the scores.

Phil Dix knocked in a 33 break on the way to making it 2-1 to Hadley.

Ian Duffy, who recently qualified for the world eight-ball pool championships, was in fine form for Maddocks as he rolled in a 55 break to tie things up at 2-2.

Unfortunately, there was no-one to play the deciding frame for Hadley, so that match was claimed and gave Maddocks a 3-2 win.

Dawley A face a tough run-in but they boosted their hopes of finishing second with a comprehensive 4-1 success at Newport B.

Sean Nolan and Adam Moore put Dawley 2-0 up before Steve Speeke reduced the deficit.

But any hopes of a Newport comeback were dashed as visiting duo Mark Jones and Ade Henry won the two remaining frames.

Eden A were in fine form as they powered to a 5-0 whitewash against Maddocks D.

Lewis Round, Michael Mancini, Dan Morris, Chris Morris and Tom Maxfield were the Eden winners.

Hadley A enjoyed their trip to Maddocks E, returning home with the spoils courtesy of a 4-1 triumph.

Simon Yeates grabbed a consolation frame for the hosts.

Ali Jones knocked in a 58 break to help fire Bayley E to victory at home to Shifnal E.

Eden G are in the driving seat to lift the Second Division title.

They hold a four-point lead at the top of the table following a 4-1 triumph on the tables of Dawley B.

Craig Reynolds started the victory charge with team-mates Roy Leneveu, Rich Jones and Steve Powell following his example to win the next three.

Dawley's Andy Garbett stopped the rot by narrowly winning the last frame against Graham Copson.

Second-placed Shifnal F also won 4-1.

They were away to Eden Elite and came away with the spoils thanks to victories from Spencer Rowley, Gareth Lloyd, Tony Lloyd and Chris Petford.

Paz Chande was the only Eden Elite man to offer any resistance.

Bayley D, who are in third spot, edged home by the odd frame against Maddocks F.

Chris Morgan-Adams won the first frame of the evening, and if he continues in his current form he could land the most wins accolade this season.

Dave Dudley then beat Geoff Tudor to extend Bayley's lead.

Mick Pearson pulled one back for Maddocks in a high-scoring frame with youngster Ryan Dudley.

Ben Godding sealed the win for Bayley in frame four before Neil Pearson, also in good form this season, made it 3-2 by beating Bayley's Brian Aberdeen.

Shifnal D went down 3-2 at home to Bayley Cue.

Noel Hitch was the hero for the Bayley boys as he held his nerve to win the final frame against Mark Hebdon.

Chris Durham and Spencer Clarke had earlier won for Bayley with Karl Wilson and Jimmy Langley forcing the decider.

Anstice B bagged an impressive 3-2 win at Bayley Z.

Frank Williams put the first point on the scorecard for Anstice with Noel Stones adding the second, with the help of a 29 break.

Richard Benting had a good win over Nigel Wallcroft to gain the home side's first victory of the night, but then Stewart Wimbush won the match for Anstice when he just beat Tony Morgan.

In a high-scoring last frame, James Steele narrowly beat Billy Watson to make the final score 3-2.

Second Club Trench also won 3-2, away to Allscott.
