The 22-year-old former Liverpool man joins on a three-year deal from Huddersfield Town for a fee believed to be around £2million.

Coady impressed for Huddersfield last season, missing only one game and scoring a 30-yard screamer at Molineux in Wolves' 3-1 defeat.

He can also play in defence and will add more competition to a packed Wolves midfield.

The new signing said: "It's massive for me. I'm really thrilled to be here and I cannot wait to get going. I'm made up.

"It's a huge, huge club and one that I really couldn't turn down.

"Last year was huge for me. Huddersfield was a fantastic club for me to be at and I'm really grateful for what they gave me.

"It's a new chapter now and I really can't wait to get going."
