AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton hasn't ruled out signing trialist Adam Proudlock - after the striker hit a hat-trick in the Bucks 7-0 friendly success over Chasetown.

Proudlock played 55 minutes at the New Bucks Head and his first half treble has certainly given Sinton food for thought.

"He did very well," Sinton said of the former Wolves star's efforts last night.

"He scored a hat-trick in 31 minutes. It was his first game for four months and we've just given him the chance to come down and work on his fitness and get match sharp.

"I'll have a chat with Adam at training tonight and we'll see where we go."

"The arrangement we have with him at the moment is that he can train with us and try and get himself fit — and with him being a local lad it makes sense.

"He's got a lot to offer and he did ever so well so we'll see what he wants to do."

New signing Josh Johnson, Phillip John, Jacob Rowe and Steve Abbot were also on the scoresheet as the Bucks recorded a comfortable win over their Evo-Stik League premier division opponents.

Sinton added: "We got everything we wanted out of last night.

"All the fringe players got 90 minutes and some much needed match practice which is what we wanted to use the game for."

Bucks defender Ashley Woolliscroft was taken off in the second half with a knock but Sinton expects the former Stoke man to be fit for Saturday's trip to Solihull Moors.

He added: "He's just got a little niggle. Aside from that we've got a clean bill of health from last night."

l Telford's Blue Square Bet North rivals Ilkeston Town were officially wound up in the High Court yesterday over unpaid tax bills. But the Derbyshire club are appealing the decision and look set to play Saturday.
