Two injured in Cleobury Mortimer smash

Two people were injured following a collision between two cars.

The accident happened at just before 10.50am this morning on the B4201 road near Cleobury Mortimer and involved two hatchback cars.

Two ambulance crews, a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended.

Two people were injured, with one of them having to be released from their vehicle by fire service personnel.

Both of the injured people suffered back injuries and were taken in land ambulances to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
