Plans have been submitted to Shropshire Council to transform the former Engine and Tender pub in Broome, near Craven Arms, back into two properties.

Owner Ron Burton, who took over the pub in 2005 but closed it in January 2011, has submitted the plans.

The pub was put up for sale with a £550,000 asking price but attracted little interest. The building was previously two buildings before it became a pub.
