Van destroyed by fire in Newport
A blazing van has been gutted by fire near Newport.
Firefighters from the town discovered the commercial vehicle ablaze in Chetwynd Road, Chetwynd, shortly after 9.45pm on Thursday.
A crew from the town used a hose, breathing gear and a specialist camera to tackle it.
They left the scene at 10.10pm.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said the van was "100 per cent destroyed by fire".
