Wildlife photographer to give talk

The first South Shropshire RSPB group meeting of the new season will be held next week.

Conservation Photographer, Andrew Fusek Peters with his latest book, 'Upland'. With him are South Shropshire RSPB Committee Members, Pat Fairweather and Clive Cooke.

Guest speaker will be Andrew Fusek Peters, a well known and popular conservation photographer.

His talk, entitled 'Wildlife Wonders of the Shropshire Hills', is on September 12 and will include some of the pictures from his latest book 'Upland', which will also be available to purchase. Everyone who is interested in the countryside and the birds and creatures that can be seen both locally and further afield is welcome to attend.

An informative programme of talks and events have been put together for this season. All meetings start at 7.30 pm at Culmington Village Hall on the second Tuesday of the month. Membership of the group costs £8 for the season, £1.50 then per meeting, or £4 per meeting for non members, to include refreshments
