Shrewsbury's regatta returns with competitors expected from across the country
Rowers are warming up for a oar-some weekend of boating as the Shrewsbury Regatta returns.
One of the oldest events in the rowing calendar, the Shrewsbury Regatta is set to return to the Severn on May 11 and 12.
Organisers expect that around 1,500 competitors will take part in teams from up and down the country in the highly competitive weekend of racing.
