Car fire breaks out at Market Drayton business park
A fire broke out at an industrial estate in Market Drayton today.
The fire service was called to Tern Valley Business Park at about 11.20am.
The blaze started in a saloon car and firefighters worked to ensure it did not spread to a nearby building.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service sent one appliance from Market Drayton Fire Station.
Crews used a hose reel jet, two sets of breathing apparatus, a 9m ladder, thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation equipment to extinguish the fire and stop smoke from entering a nearby commercial property.
Further checks were made and no damage was caused to any nearby buildings.
