Moped rider injured in crash with car in Bridgnorth

A man had to be treated by an ambulance staff after a crash between a moped and a car in Bridgnorth today.

The crash took place in Underhill Street just after 2pm, and the ambulance service, police and Shropshire Fire adn Rescue Service all attended.

A man in his 40s was treated for minor injuries and discharged on the scene.

Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 2.10pm to a crash between a car and a moped on Underhill Street.

"One ambulance attended. We treated the moped rider, a man in his 40s, for minor injuries and he was discharged on the scene."

New Road was partially blocked and caused traffic issues due to the crash.
