Inquest opened into cyclist's death who was killed on A458 near Shrewsbury

An inquest into a cyclist who was killed on one of Shropshire's busiest roads has been opened and adjourned.

The cook, who was born in Venice in 1968, was pronounced dead at the scene.

At an inquest opening held yesterday at Shrewsbury's Shirehall, John Ellery, coroner for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin heard that a post mortem was carried out on the body of Mr Malvone at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and a cause of death was given as multiple injuries.

The inquest was adjourned to February 28, 2017 and will be heard at Shirehall.
