Woman treated after two cars crash near Oswestry supermarket

A woman was left walking wounded following a collision near to a busy supermarket.

The two-vehicle crash happened shortly after 3.15pm today near to Sainsbury's on Black Gate Street in Oswestry.

Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We treated one patient, a woman in her 40s with no obvious injuries, so we were able to discharge her at the scene.

"Nobody was sent to hospital as a result."
