Fire at derelict Telford pub

A derelict Telford  pub went up in flames tonight.

Two crews from Tweedale and Wellington were called to the Queens Arms Inn in Dawley Bank at around 6.40pm.

The first floor of the pub was found to be on fire.

The blaze had taken hold of 15 metres by 10 metres of floorspace.

Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one 45mm jet to bring the fire under control.

The incident was dealt with in about half an hour.
