Woman cut from car that flipped in Bridgnorth

A woman had to be cut free from her car after it flipped onto its side in Bridgnorth.

Fire crews freed the woman from her vehicle which was on an embankment on Oldbury Road, Bridgnorth just before 8pm. She was then treated by paramedics.

Four crews from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington used electric saws and winches to release the woman.

No other vehicles were involved.

Ambulance and police were also in attendance.

Her injuries are not known at this time.
