Severn Trent discovered a burst water pipe in Danesford this morning, and teams are on site now trying to get the pipe repaired and water restored.

Problems are thought to be in the WV15 area, where about 29 homes were left without water.

Temporary traffic lights are in place in Danesford on A442.

Peter Edney, spokesman for Severn Trent, said: "Our engineers are currently repairing a burst water pipe on the A442 in Danesford near to Bridgnorth in Shropshire.

"While the repair is completed some customers may find they are without water or have lower pressure coming from their taps than usual. We're working as quickly as we can to get the pipe fixed and water returned to everyone who has been affected.

"To make sure our teams can work safely we currently have temporary traffic lights in place. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and our engineers will return everything to normal as soon as possible."
