Damian Malolepszy denies five charges of supplying Class A and Class B drugs.

The 29-year-old's trial started at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.

Mr Peter Cooper, prosecuting, said Malolepszy, of Redlands Road, Hadley, sold drugs to Nathan Crossley on New Year's Eve 2014.

The prosecutor said the defendant also sold drugs to another man, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Both Mr Crossley and another man, Carl Dicken, who was with the second man when the drugs were bought, picked Malolepszy out at an ID parade, Mr Cooper told the jury.

The court heard police raided a property where the defendant was listed as a tenant at the time in High Street, Hadley, on January 3 last year.

Officers found a substantial amount of cannabis, pills and a set of electric weighing scales. But Malolepszy said he had moved out and sub-let it to another couple, Mr Cooper said.

The trial continues.
