Woman threatened with blade at Telford bus stop

A man threatened a woman with a blade at a bus stop in Telford.

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after a man was seen holding the bladed object and shouting at a young woman.

The incident took place at a bus stop close to The Elizabethan Pub in Woodside, on Monday. A man, aged approximately 18, is reported to have been holding the item and shouting at a woman aged approximately 17.

The man is described as wearing baggy white trousers, a black top, black Converse shoes and having short brown hair.

It is believed the man and woman are known to each other and officers urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call 101, quoting incident number 443s.
