Man seriously injured after being hit by car in Shrewsbury
A pedestrian has suffered multiple serious injuries after being struck by a car in Shrewsbury.

The man was airlifted to hospital following the crash in Longden Road at around 4pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews discovered a pedestrian who had suffered multiple serious injuries in the incident.
"He received specialist trauma treatment from medics at the scene before being transported to Royal Stoke University Hospital by land ambulance."
