Inquest opens into teenager's death at Whitchurch golf club

An inquest has been opened into the death of a man found in a pond by a Whitchurch golf club greenkeeper.

Tyrone Ashley Lock, 18, a car dealer from Hope Under Dinmore, Leominster, was found dead in the grounds of Hill Valley Golf Club, Whitchurch, on November 23.

Opening an inquest into the death, Shropshire Coroner, John Ellery, heard that Mr Lock had been discovered by a greenkeeper at around 8.57am, and was recovered by paramedics at 11.53am.

The inquest was adjourned until March 17, 2016.
