Santa shouldn't have any problem finding this Shropshire house on Christmas Eve.

This home has once again been transformed into a riot of colour to raise money for charity.

Couple Brian and Tina Williams have covered their house and garden in Edgebolton, near Shawbury, in Christmas decorations to raise money for Hope House. The couple have been raising money for the charity for the last five years, including last year when they raised about £150.

Mr Williams, a 67-year-old coach driver, said his house gets a lot of attention from neighbours and passers-by. We have been doing this for about 15 years since the grandchildren took an interest in it," he said.

"We have been raising money for Hope House for five years because our grandson depends on it for respite. We used to give money to the charity and when we started decorating our house like this we thought it would be a good way of raising a bit more.

"Last year we raised about £135 and we ended up adding a bit more ourselves to make it up to £150."

Mr Williams added: "Decorations seem to get bigger each year and we tend to go out and regularly buy new ones to put up the following year.

"It costs us about £20 a week in electricity, then we spend about £50 or £80 on decorations in the sales after Christmas, ready to put them up for the next one. People get out of their car and come up to the door to give us donations."

Mr Williams said people can help by posting donations.
