The meetings, which took place behind closed doors, were held following an independent investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police and an subsequent appeal by the victims to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

The appeal had called for stronger measures to be taken against some of those involved and resulted in an extra officer being asked to attend a meeting.

Four West Mercia Police officers and one member of police staff were subject to misconduct meetings.

The last meeting was held yesterday afternoon.

West Mercia Police said it will release a statement once an outcome has been established.

In 2013, shop worker Reynolds, now 24, lured Georgia to his home in Wellington and killed her, before dumping her body. He was given a whole life prison term.
