Man punched in face during attack at Shrewsbury bus station

A man was punched in the face during an unprovoked attack at Shrewsbury's bus station.

The 21-year-old victim was walking out of the public toilets at the Raven Meadows bus station in Shrewsbury when he was approached by an unknown man.

As a result of the attack the victim sustained swelling to his right cheek.

The offender, who was wearing a dark blue Adidas jacket and a grey beanie hat, walked up to the man and punched him.

It is believed the attacker, who is described as white and around 6ft 3ins, then ran off through the bus station.

The attack happened at about 3pm on Friday, October 30.

Information to police on 101.

Anyone who was in the bus station at the time and witnessed anything suspicious should call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 408S of October 30.
