Topless man wearing balaclava exposed himself to teenage girl on Telford footpath

A man wearing a balaclava exposed himself to a teenage girl before chasing her along a footpath in Telford, police have said.

The victim, who is in her early teens was walking along a footpath on waste-ground near to Rookery Road in the St Georges area.

She then saw the man, who was shirtless, emerge from bushes on the other side of the road.

The man exposed himself and performed a lewd act while looking at the victim - the girl then started to run away.

He pursued her for a short time but stopped when she ran through a nearby housing estate.

The man is described as a white man of a stocky build and is thought to be in his late thirties.

He has a beard, blue eyes and at the time of the incident he was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a balaclava covering the majority of his face.

The exposure happened on Wednesday between 3.45pm and 4pm

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have any further information should call police on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident number 400s of Wednesday, October 28.
