Man admits causing death by dangerous driving after Shrewsbury railway bridge crash

A driver has admitted causing the death of a man following a crash in Shropshire.

Shaun Freeman, 46, of Hurleybrook Way, Leegomery, Telford, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

He admitted causing the death of Leslie Dovaston by dangerous driving in January in Baschurch Road, Bomere Heath.

Freeman also admitted causing serious injury to Hazel Dovaston by dangerous driving in a Renault Megane.

He will be sentenced at the court during the week beginning November 16.
