Shropshire house burglar, 24, is jailed

A burglar who targeted a house in a Shropshire village has been sent to prison for more than three years.

Callum Simpson, 24, was convicted of burgling a house in Corra Place, Calverhall, near Whitchurch, on August 28.

The offence was committed while Simpson was on a suspended sentence for another burglary, Shrewsbury Crown Court heard.

Simpson, of Frogmore Road, Market Drayton, was yesterday jailed for a total of three years and three months.
